To right looks funny. I know it's not what happened, but it looks like you repeatedly made the same wrong guesses for the 2nd and 5th letters, then just got the word

Yes it does. 😀

I left that one for last but it was actually 4 different letters that had turned up. When I focused on it I thought that that was maybe all I needed. [/spoiler]

Got it in 8 Damelon - one to spare is a great result with Quordle! Fist, how did you get the top left one with only one letter?? Impressive on the last guess too!

That's what my " Holy cow!" was for. :lol: I had guessed so many letters getting everything else that it might have been the only possible word with what was left. Crazy!

I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. For the first three guesses I was just trying to get the five vowels and common letters out there. Then start to work with what I have.

Then again Quordle might make me humble tomorrow if I try it.

Try Damelon’s (and Fist’s, and mine now :D) approach of using all the vowels and as many consonants as possible in the first 3 guesses. Then you have something to work with.
