Neat!

Switched up to Elton John - Madman across the Water. Fourth album from him and released in 1971. Filled with hits that are still relevant and played today. Possibly my favorite LP from him.

I've been kind of addicted to Tesseract's last album War of Being lately. It's just so good. Legion is one of the best songs:

David Gilmore's new album. Luck and Strange. A few people I have spoken to didn't like it. I am loving it!!! His guitar work is sublime

Mothers Finest live from 1979. From "Funk Rock" Georgia. Of course there is no such place but that is how they always introduced themselves.

I obviously don't post in here much. I noticed there was a new post, and took a quick look around. I hadn't heard about this album. Just listened to the title track. Really excellent!

What are you listening to?
For the holiday season. Symphony North - The Bell Ringer. I listen on YouTube. Recorded during lockdown, there are two versions:
Full band play through
or the version I prefer
Full band play through with story narration between songs to tell the full concept
While not flashy like Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s live shows, the approach is the same. A Christmas-themed tale with rock music, including both original rock songs and classic Christmas carols done in a rock style.
While a rock album, like T-SO it is very musical theater in approach. I definitely enjoy it at Christmas.
