I can make it - I'll be okay, as long as someone can pick me up and drop me off. Chances are I'll be staying up late talking to people.

I'll, most likely, be the one picking up folks Thursday night, the airport, train and bus station are all just down the street. If I was worried before, I'm not now as Jenn, ala Waddely three years ago at FR Elohimfest, has taken over the organization. (sounds like I'm making mob talk--yeah, now dat the dame has taken over da organization the entire Cossa Nostra better watch it's backside...)

Allows me to think ahead to TLD Elohimfest the themes we could come up with boggle the mind! :D 8) :P

Please include Menolly and Savor Dam in the Thursday evening pre-fest dinner-and-setup party -- and all other events from then through the end of Elohimfest.

PM me an address to send chip-in contributions to, if they are desired in advance, or I can just kick into the kitty on Thursday. Also, plan on putting us to work wherever we are most needed.

Image Help the sky is swallowing my house!!! :hairs: We're getting there, will be done by the end of week--windows and door frame will be chocolate brown and the door and gate will be stained the color of the deck--as you can see the deck is getting pretty dark now, we sort of have to do that here as the NM sun lightens all stain up in a hurry. (some new furniture, too!)

Sarge - I'm in NH, so no can do. :(

Lorin - this could possibly work out. A plane ticket itself is $428 and food wouldn't be too expensive for just me. Hmm...only problem is my son has a Dr's appt I can't miss on Friday, the 10th. I'd hate to fly in Saturday and fly out Sunday to be at work for Monday. :\ Let me mull this over a bit.

Query: does anyone have an acoustic guitar? If I were to even come up with the money and the time to attend, I was thinking of bringing mine, but I feel weird about it.

Lucimay does, and she sings beautifully, too.

I don't know if bringing her guitar is in her plans for this 'fest, though.

Sarge, if there is room in the car and Julie does not have some objection (domestic harmony first, always!), bring the guitar. With thirty + Watchers on hand, there is almost no downside to having it available.

LZ, I believe, is bringing an acoustic guitar as well, maybe you can help him tune it? I'll light the chimenea and we can all sing "Cumbaya".

That's essentially what rdhopeca is doing, Jaz. So you wouldn't be the only one.
