The Gemini spacecraft lifted off from the ground with a roar and a mountain of smoke.

That smoke continued streaming into the air as the craft rose further into the heavens.

As it got high enough to be beyond our visions, we all popped off the bottlecaps at about the same time and drank our sodas to celebrate what we had witnessed.

Bob always offered to help with every project, under the theory that no one would expect him to actually do anything. (Or if they did, they'd be desperate to fix that error in judgement.) Somewhere, someone was bound to appreciate his unique lack of talents, but that day was not today.
