What with his long disappearance and all

Since people seem to be really upset about it... I think I have to cross Cho off my list. Fred or George then maybe? Eurgh! I gotta go read!I thought it was Mr Weasly for awhile because of the snake bit and was like "Oh, well that's not so bad." But Oohhhh noooo!

It's NOT Fred and George. In fact, they supply my favorite part of the book. I have been tempted for years to "Pull a Weasley" on my employer.    8)

Ha, yeah. I just read that part... I am pretty relieved. Only 140 pages to go and still no death. And Dumbledore still hasn't said "Sit down Harry, I am going to tell you smething I should've told you a long time ago" er something like that. Arghhhh. Careful though with the spoilers! I don't want to ruin anything this close to the end. :)

one of the things i liked most is the way JKR keeps u guessing bout the death rite til it happens, & wen it does a whole lot of other stuff is going on & u dont expect it. & it really bugged me that the whole sit down harry and let me tell u something was so near the end.

Great review... but I'd rather he spent the time finishing the Dark Tower books, dagnabbit!
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Where'd you get that info? I must have missed that in the book.

I'm liking Neville more all the time. That boy is kinda like a hobbit. Appears all soft and timid, until you put him in a tight place. I'm thinking that's why the Sorting Hat put him in Griffindor.

Sure she is disgusting, but I have to say that when I think about it there is a difference in that I might have been able to co-exist with Dolores Umbridge for a while. Not so with a lot of the people in the chronicles (and the Gap)!
