The History Topic of the Month voting

Post by danlo »

I'd like to use this thread to get ideas about an era, war, personage or topic of History should be the featured History Topic of the Month. What I'd like to do is get at least 5 ideas per month and put up a poll of those ideas--and then start that topic--or someone else could start the topic --each month.

If confused, please respond...If you have an idea please post it here...if we experience a dearth of ideas we can recycle old ones.

My suggestion for May is: The Spanish Civil War

My suggestion would be:

The Cold War and influence on Popular Culture of the 50s and 60's.

Thanks. There is a great deal to talk about on him. I found him to have one of the most fascinating lives. Sadly, I did not get enough time to really study him.

Ok I'm sold on Henry VIII for May.

Suggestions for June's poll now include:
The Spanish Civil War
The Cold War and influence on Popular Culture of the 50s and 60's

I've been doing more reading about him since the series "The Tudors" started recently.

Well, now that it's May I hope I don't have to PM Jove and tell her that since the featured topic was her idea she has to contribute to it...
