I was a Warhammer 40.000 player, so i love sci-fi game.
I have already 2 race in my mind that i could love to play.

I see only a problem: time to dedicate to this game... i fear that i will not able to follow ALSO this game :(

I really want to publicly thank Lore for taking the time to attempt to explain what this skill and strength point issue y'all were discussing is all about via PM. He had to totally break it down for me to comprehend what he was telling me. It took several PM attempts on his part for light to slightly break through.

I truly don't know about this. If something so basic to RPGs is beyond my ken, how on Earth am I going to keep up?

I'm having a little trouble with ideas for a race. I have difficulty conceiving of a non-anthropoid species having technological and societal development of the requisite level, but I don't want to do something that's just another 'human' race.

Uh, I could use a little help as well.

Argothoth, you already have two races in mind?

Holy cow! I'd better get moving but I need some help. I'm pretty familiar with mythology for Pantheon but I am lost on sci-fi.

The only RPG sci-fi game I played was called Traveler and it was based on D&D.

I though about real cool aliens, similar to the Zerg of starcraft game. And something like the eldar of warhammer 40K game.

I really can't chose one between them... :(

There's also nothing wrong with choosing human.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Good!

Being the only deity in Pantheon (that I am aware of) who doesn't have a bi-ped for a prophet has been interesting, to say the least...

I doubt I could pull it off again.

Bah. The only time people look at the names on those lists is if they want to kill someone, or forgot how to spell Klasthrishh.
