Then let's start a week from Monday. I want this to be totally informal.

I've never done a group read before and I am unsure of how they work. Having said that, I was thinking of something totally informal. What do you guys think of going two chapters at a time and we take turns writing a brief synopsis and then discuss?

That's kind of the format of the group reads of the past. The trick is to make sure whoever is supposed to write the synopsis writes it on time so that things don't lag.

Considering I don't have The Mirror of Her Dreams yet, I can't start. :)

Powells did send me an email the other day saying it was shipped

You should have it by Monday right? So why don't I take the first two and post by Tuesday? Then anyone who wants to volunteer for the next two chapters, say, three days later? Is that too short of time? If nobody volunteers then I would be happy to take those chapters too.

This is a weird scenario...but, Luci's post about "MN is like SRD talking to you" has me intriqued...and I have nothing to read right now, so *hmmm* :!:

But this is an INFORMAL group read, instigated and headed by ME! I'm sure some FBH like commentaries will be unavoidable. :P
