Dissection Sign Up by Chapters: HP and the PS/SS

OK, seventeen chapters in Hogwarts: Year One. Sign up below by chapter number and title. I'll edit this initial post as the chapters are taken.

Per the poll, only eight Watchers expressed interest in doing dissections, so feel free to sign up for more than one chapter. I encourage spacing your choices out though, instead of doing multiple adjoining chapters.

I think I work better with two chapters at a time. How about I take 1 and 2 and have it up by Saturday? :P

Heh...ready to roll, huh?

I was planning on waiting until after Labor Day to start. And, yes, you can take one and two, but shouldn't we space out the revealing of each one?

I would also like to have all of the chapters assigned before we start, if at all possible.

Heh...

I originally suggested we wait until mid-September, as I thought DH and movie talk would still be occupying our thoughts.

However, I really do want to have all of the chapters assigned before we begin, and I suspect it may take a while before that happens.

Ok guys, I'm disappointed more haven't signed up to do dissections, but perhaps as we get rolling more will join in. Jenn, are you willing to take on one more chapter, and do chapter two as well? If so, when do you want to submit chapter one? Then two would be due a week later...

I really didn't want to do this, as I am hesitant to post any formal writing anyway and I have never taken part in a dissection, but I'll take on two chapters and just hope y'all don't laugh at my initial attempts.

I'll sign up for...hmm...Chapters 4 and 9.

Unless someone steps up and says they really want one or the other.

Can I see how it goes before I volunteer? I've um, never, um, :oops: , dissected anything in my life and not sure I'd be up to it/have the time to do it properly.

Stoney I feel the exact same way. I am hoping by the time the fourth chapter comes up, which would be at least a month away, I'll have an idea what's expected.

Zahir, I need to get another copy of PS/SS as well. We only had a well loved paperback that I read to Beorn a chapter a night as his bedtime story starting when he was in kindergarten. It fell apart long ago...
