I've done the rounds on many a message board / discussion forum over the years and you guys are by far the best I've ever come across.
And yeah, I'm feeling all mushy right now - unlike my usual self

LOL. Yep, yep. This is the only place I've ever been ('net or meat space) that I can look around and say I actually like everyone. I couldn't hand pick a better group of people.
During the down-time I was perusing some Anime forums. Saw a guy on one named VileSilencer. Sent him a quick pm about the board. Apparently, he's Mirager here. Now I just gotta talk him into being a more active member here (I think his post count on the other board was something like 2000).
Anyway, yeah, you guys are great... and I don't think any of us would be here without Vain and Jay.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I've never been much of a message boarder before but perhaps serendipity led me here. I simply stumbled upon Kevin's Watch when doing a search of the Chronicles. After joining I was greeted warmly and drawn into a group of intelligent, charming, and hilarious members.
Everyone is genuinely nice and seems to truly care about each other.
Sometimes I purposely play the devil's advocate on posts to estimate the knowledge and emotion the posters feel toward the subject matter. It is evident. I love seeing the conviction and debate while maintaining such good will.
I'm also glad there is some interest in archaeology here as well. I love talking arch so hearing others experiences and interest makes me happy.
Besides Jay and Vain, who keep this wonderful site going, credit and esteem belongs to the big posters, the Mile-Highers. Danlo, Syl, Duchess, Infelice, Sky, Damelon, Mhoram, Fist, Turiya, I'll even include Lord Foul since he's almost there. , (I hope I didn't forget anyone) really make the place alot of fun.
Great members all the way around

I'd be Mile-High now, I bet, if not for my posts being sucked into a temporal time-vortex when the site experienced the Ritual of Desecration. No biggie! Keep up the good work, Vain! I've said it before, and I'll say it again: you be jammin', mon!
Quite frankly, I'm amazed at such fast posters like you, Kin. 500 already and it's been a little over a month since you joined! Whew!!

Well a good many of many posts can be ascribed to the Duchess' addictive games. Take out those and I'm closer to maybe 200.
