No it wasn't... The Astavyastataa stuff was made possible because of Nephirthos's interference, not despite it. And had Nephirthos not showed up (thus diverting the good gods' attention from the evil ones), AK and Argothoth would have been destroyed much more easily since their attack would have immediately been retaliated by all gods (witness how much was done against them this turn, even not counting Melirelle's interference).

Okay, I suppose you have a point. And regard what you said in the other thread as well--I used to want to convert other people's cities using Maeror, but became more and more reluctant to provoke conflict as the game went on. We probably do need something to make us act as selfishly as our gods should do.

And I think I'm decided. I'll vote yes to the interdiction--a big attack that set me back a long way has been brushed off with little effort and I now anticipate full recovery, and now once again everyone is banding together to stop the aggressors. The current game will in a short while revert back to a group of people all just working together to minimise Nephirthos' damage, without much interesting conflict.

Also: There should be a thread, when P2 ends, for us to talk about and share things like our best actions from the game that the other players mgiht not otherwise be aware of. I came up with some stuff I was pretty proud of at the time, but other people didn't get to see.

No Interdiction.

I do not wish the current Lord of the Moon to possibly return and attempt to usurp my domain if his reign over it ends without resolution, as appears to be the case currently between Maeror and Argothoth regarding the domain of Death.

I humbly submit that you are mistaken, my Lord (?).

I do not know why the Game statistics do not list it, but the Lord of the Seas claimed the domain of the Moon several Turns ago.

I voted no in the mindset that that it will only be a few more turns and I would rather sit on my hands for P3 and finish P2 rather than ditch it.

Why do you think only a few more? If Nephy is battled to a stand still ... it could continue for some time.

Perhaps Xar can opine on his thoughts on the range of Turns remaining if interdict is NOT chosen. Obviously, with WB being able to move inter-Turn, Eiran could be destroyed at any time. BUT, I have a feeling that Xar is 'playing' WB according to a set of 'rules' and not capriciously. We just don't know what those rules are.

Not that I am suggesting anyone has done this ... but ... I hope no pantheon 2.0 gods are voting with BOTH their 2.0 and 3.0 gods (or goddesses) or any other IDs. [I have not.]

Such a move would make it difficult for Vadhaka to truly count the votes. We should not do that to him.

I will admit to being guilty of this. Feel free to disregard my vote.

I prefer OGC, if she survives 2.0, which is why she is the one registered. Nihn-anna is a back up for now.

*shrug*

I saw nothing stated against it, and suspected others would do the same. Once it was stated we shouldn't, I owned up to it so it could be removed.

Heh. That would give me 5 votes if I did that.

Interdict. Short of Nephirthos' destroying Eiran, I do not believe the argument that Pantheon 2 will be over anytime soon otherwise.
