The next instalment
Ive just found out what I came here to find (when I can get my hands on the next gripping instalment of the Chronicles) and to my horror I'm going to have to wait another 3 years! I just can believe it, another 3 years and then another 3 to actual journeys end. Oh woe is me, now I can be counted as an unbeliever! . But I know it will be worth the wait, I just have to read them all from the start until then. What an extraordinary read I just could not put it the book down and consumed it in just 2 days if only I'd know then what I know now I may have read it a lot slower, ah well never mind I could just start again, its worth it, for those who may be sensibly taking there time with its well worth it I promise.

2 days is how long a mother of 3 young children has to spare n like I said if I knew the next book would be a 3 year wait I would have taken much longer! Hell, I knew I had to wait for this one so saved the last chapter of the last, until I had my greedy little eyes on the next Also, I aint bitchin, considersing its been 30yrs from Lord Foul's Bane to Fatal Revenant, you really can't complain-I just hope SRD doesn't pop his clogs before they are published (I know, what a terrrible thought), So I wish him good health and no unfortunate accidents. But thank you for your welcome to Kevinswatch .

Five hours?
Why so incredibly fast?
I don't understand how you can chew soo many words in a matter of minutes.
I was here for a month trying to devour every last word. I can still remember most of it off the top of my head! (:
Did you just skim or did you read every detail? If you read every detail, I want to know the damned secret so I can keep my teachers from complaining about me being a slow reader - damnit, I enjoy the series too much to read quickly.

Just finished FR myself, I think it took me about a week or so to get through it. I'm a fairly slow reader, but it got me in the mood to go back and re-read the Second Chronicles.
Think this wait is long? Try being a Robert Jordan fan.
P.S. I mean no disrespect with the Jordan comment. I was crushed by his death and I alluded more to the same wait-time for more than just a couple books. Try 12.

I'd just finished Fatal Revenant the other day, and I thought that the Last Chronichles would be a Trilogy, and that the whole thing would be a trilogy of trilogys... Anyway I was shocked to find out there's 4 books in this last series... I thought I'd only have to wait for one more to come out...
Grrrr!
Grrrr!
Forgive my death.

Yes, it is right.
SRD talked about this often in the gradual interview.

What the heck are the Insequent, what happened to the Vizard, What will the Sandgorgons do? What are the manacles?
Also, does anyone consider it somewhat cheap, the intriduction of the Insequent, a race close to the power level of the elohim, and they've never been mentioned or used by Foul, or opposed him?

Hi all! I just finished FR. WOW!
I read the 1st 5 books about 6 months before White Gold Wielder came out. And that wait seemed forever! I don't know how I'll be able to wait 2 years!
I read the 1st two trilogies before hitting Runes recently, and then FR. Two years from now, I'll probably have to read the first 8 books before reading the new one.
