I just watched season 1 of Legend of Korra yesterday.

While she really annoyed me at first, I was surprised by the direction the season went. The only thing that really annoyed me was the evil cackling... The villain is kind of like the bad guy in Black Panther, where if he didn't have an evil laugh he could make a serious case for why he's right (#OzymandiasWasTheHero)

I'll start on S2 tonight.

Season 2 was disappointing. Not only a disappointing villain, but a disappointing threat.
Spoiler
I'm just not interested in "save the world" narratives. Fire Lord Ozai was actually a political threat more than anything else, waging war on the other nations.

Korra went all in on "Ultimate evil will end the world!" and lost my interest.

I only watched both series once. Enjoyed both a lot. Enjoyed Avatar more than Korra, but enjoyed Korra. Avatar had Toph, though, so...
