I know I would be speechless in his presence... at first anyway. I just love this man's stuff.
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

LOL. I can't believe people are still bringing up my socks. (I don't know what lies Hellfire is feeding you people, but they're really not that bad  ).

Sadly, as I've mentioned elsewhere, my ship is going to be deploying in June, so unless I break my leg or something, I probably won't be able to attend. Stupid Navy. Maybe the next one?

I'm sure there's one kind soul, though, who could take a video camera (a digital one might have some possibilites) and record for us that can't make it. If I can't make it, I'll send one of Hellfire and I in our place.

*sigh*
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Hey Fist, maybe a certain raver and a haruchai should join forces and kidnap a forestal? Or break his leg? :) I'm sure the Navy would understand...

Thought you'd like to know... Elohimfest has definitely made it onto the Donaldson radar. I got another e-mail from Perry yesterday, and in the middle of it was this short paragraph:
Bubonicon was lots of fun. I hear rumors that Kevins Watch.com is going to have an Elohimfest out here in ABQ. Will you be attending? Sounds like it should be fun...ny.
I also got a nice personal invite to be shown around Albuquerque but alas, grad students don't get much of a travel budget. I'd love to attend, but unless my lottery karma kicks into high gear, it's probably not gonna happen.

Anyhow, I just thought you'd like to know that they're definitely aware of EF. 8)

I would probably drive if I get a chance to go. Gosh I really wish I could... but baby is due in March, not sure I would be able to get away in June. I hate flying... and now with all the terror precautions, it's a nightmare. Would love to meet all you though, I have really had alot of fun on this site :)

And there are some of us from the Southeast (myself and Raverbane mainly) who really want to go, but our moms have already schedueled (I know I misspelled that) our yoga lessons. Eurgh, Raverbane is a boy, boys don't take yoga lessons. Pictures! Pictures and take notes, if you can.

*sniffs* :( Yoga, why yoga, why not bone-removal, or free fillings.... Ah, well, there's always that inter-dimensional portal in the shower that I could try. It activates every second Thursday. :) Who knows? Maybe it leads to NM....

Me: "Shut up, and stay in your fic. Don't make me turn you into an albino squirrel!"
Roarke: "I give! I give! You could always Portkey out there though."
Me: "Need I remind you that this world isn't cannon?" :(
