Lost Season 4-There Will Be Spoilers
I know, it hasn't started yet, but it starts at the end of the month. I am down on my quota for thread starting, so I figured I'd make room for this'n.
Is it here yet?
So what is this season going to be about? All I know is that they might get rescued and leave the island. And that guy from Spanking The Monkey is in it this season. Which disturbs me, as that movie was very disturbing. But I'm definitely excited.
It seems the previous seasons have centered around something specific. Season 1, the island and the mysteries and the castaways. Season 2, the hatch. Season 3, the Others. Season 4 - Rescue? The Boat that is rescuing them? All I know is that the first 5 minutes of the new season will kick ass. It always does.

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

You've got about 3 weeks. That should be enough time. Starts the 31st.
My girlfriend, however, doesn't like to watch much tv, but I've got her hooked on Lost. So, we bought Lost season 3 together on the day it came out, and her stipulation was that we had to watch them together. But if I was left to my own devices, I would have watched them all by now. So now we watch 3 episodes a week, and I'm left ready to move on to the next one. And view all the extras.

The LOST move to Thursday at 9 EST, a Prime TV slot, is permanent. Great for me, since I missed many eps last season when it was on at 10, my school nite bed time...
Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.

It's so close now!
C'mon, jerkasses! Wrap up the WGA strike! Pay 'em what you should, dammit! I don't only want to get a few episodes and then have to wait again for the next chunk! Haven't we waited long enough?

YES! You said it, Cag. Just give them WHATEVER they want. Please, for the love of Lost!Cagliostro wrote:It's so close now!

Yeah, they don't want to do that. I'll pick the Office over Lost if they do.KiGirl wrote:does anyone know if the thursday move is a permanent one? i hope not...the office comes on thursdays. lost will of course win out with me, but i really like the office.

We have these fabulous inventions called the VCR and TiVo. . . It lets you record one while watching something else. . . or while you're away.
A good friend of mine has a roommate that owns 3 TiVos. He never watches anything that is actually on, but records for the week and watches everything on Saturday.
And Caglio, I'm hoping that the strike is over tomorrow. If it isn't over soon, I'll be very, very mad!

It wouldn't matter to me what half hour sitcom they scheduled against LOST. The two genres don't impact me the same way. Don't get me wrong I like me some sitcom but LOST is more like a weekly event than some cheap laughs. Don't get me wrong I like me some cheap laughs.

like i said, lost would win out over the comedy. but in my pathetic little life, i did like watching lost on wed and the office on thurs. it's all just entertainment anyway, man.
