1. People who don't call me back

2. People who don't do what they say they are going to do.

3. Logistical nightmares.

4. People who interrupt me.

5. Being put on hold.

6. Needy people.

7. People that ask stupid questions.

8. Cheap people, hagglers.

9. Dramatic people.

10. Your basic everyday liar.

11. Thieves.

12. People that think they own me because they spent $12,000 with me last month.

13. Did I mention A'HOLES?

In other words I have had a bad week at work. I would rather clean out septic tanks by hand than deal with these building contractors, re modelers, masons, roofers, plumbers, handy men, lumber companies, building supply wholesalers, millworks companies etc, etc, f'ing etc one more day!

Thanks for letting me vent. What pisses you off?

people questioning my integrity at work. i know the rules and procedures than anyone of my closest co-workers. and better than most of the security staff.

people who get upset with my cursing at work. ain't gonna change. i work in a prison, not a day care.

Awareness of how much people hate these failings worked wonders for me in my various customer-focused jobs. It's remarkable how little people mind that it's taking time and effort to sort out their problem if you just say "I'll call you back before four and update you on the situation" and then do it, even if you haven't managed to fix anything yet. They love you for simply calling them back when you said you would and telling them you haven't managed to sort the problem out yet. In my experience, people will forgive you many things as long as you bother to keep them informed. It's really simple and really easy, but so few staff (of anywhere) do it.

Identity thieves.

I'm still severely pissed off at the guy in Tennessee who stole my savings account number and went on a $500 shopping spree for printer cartridges. A) It took forever to get my money back and B) who the heck buys $500 worth of printer cartridges??? At least buy something fancy! Shoot.
