Happy Anniversary, Pantheon!!!

Post by Menolly »

...a day (or four days) late...

The very first mention of the possibility of this game was two years ago March 22, 2006. I am proud to say I took part in those discussions, even though I lurked forever, from the start.

Yesterday was the two year anniversary of the launch of the First Age. My life has been changed ever since.

...g-ds...how I miss Avatar, Bhakti the First, Movahl, Solus, and Thyddian, and the others. Without them to pave the way, Eiran would be a very different place.

Again, thank you for your creativity and efforts in bringing Eiran into our lives, AllFather.

Cheers.

What??? Has it really only been two years?!?!? I know I've only been a Watcher for five years, but I'd bet money I've been playing Pantheon for at least six or seven! I suspect Koel or Argothoth are behind this... Anyway, thank you Xar, for giving us this extraordinary way of making our dreams come true! (Or at least trying!) Truly an experience not to be missed!

Long live Pantheon!
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Hear Hear! And three cheers for Xar for creating the best RPG I've ever played, bar none. And every version has gotten better.

:) I've only played for two turns, but it feels like a year's worth of stuff has happened...isn't time grand?

Happy Birthday, Pantheon!

You miss Movahl? I must say I'm honoured. :)
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Are you kidding?? Movahl was awesome. You deserve to be honored. In my eyes you portrayed, and in each Age continue to portray, one of the best.

The storyline of Movahl and Solina was one of the first that fed my addiction...

Awww, thanks. :D

I would have played one of them again, but Xar killed them both off.
