Fanlistings!

I've recently opened two fanlistings.

The first is for The First Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the second is for the Mordant's Need books.

Feel free to join either - or both - of them.

I must admit that I have no idea how fanlistings work - I clicked them a while back and was a bit stumped. Educate me please

Basically, they are just small websites dedicated to a person, thing or subject where fans of that subject can "join" and have their name listed.

And, you get absolutely nothing from joining.

These fanlistings still confuse me - do we get potential members as a consequence? Maybe the concept is too simple for my muddled brain to comprehend

Anyone who joins (or even looks) at the fanlisting is going to be a fan of SRD, so yes, they are potential members. The link to this forum is up there twice: on the links page and next to your name on the member list.

Fanlistings are one of those things that you either love or hate. If you have a look at the main fanlistings site you will see that people have made fanlistings for pretty much anything you can think of - from inanimate objects to ideas or beliefs.

The TC fanlisting has only been up for a couple of weeks but I'm hoping that in time, more people will join and hopefully see the link to this forum.

I've posted a link at Glurpworld to the SRD fanlisting.

In addition I posted a link to Kevinswatch and to Ahira's Hangar under authors. I guess every little bit helps.

All of my fanlisting urls have changed, I've already updated the links in this thread, but I figured I should let you know of the change.
