If someone runs Porn Empires, my faction will be an Eastern European film company PornSec, who produce Soviet propaganda porn. Watch such classics as Olga does Sverblecha, Factory Worker and Cock, Comrades Must Share Sveta Ungyeta, Capitalist Penises are Inferior to Communist Penises, and the best selling Stalin: Man of Steel, Loins of Heady Power.

OK, I've decided that I'd like to start my own D&D game. I've got 3 folks already, I'd like one, preferably two more. Campaign world is of my devising, my own list of deities. Anyone interested PM me, please. I'm available all day long just about, so if everyone else can be on here during the day (US Central time) more than one turn can be posted in a day.
I've got the first adventure already ready. Maps will be (apologies Somefather) about as simple as in Aesir, because I don't know how to do anything better.

I'm working out an open-form RPG to run, if there's any takers.
The setting is called Valley of Eden. It's a lost something-or-other at the center of the world.
I'm not sure what the PCs are going to run yet; gods, civilizations, et cetera.
I like the simple style DRP system, but I'm not too sure on that either yet.
But I know I have time between submissions, and I'd like to try a swing at running.
Interested?

No, it's turn based. I've got the first draft of my idea. Check it out.Fist and Faith wrote:Sounds pretty complicated! Not a real-time, D&D type of thing, is it? I'm not as interested in those, and don't have the time to do conversations, and "now I swing with my sword" kind of stuff.

Montresor should run an rpg. I noticed all the Warhammer books on floor yesterday. That or Rogue Trader.
It needs to be called Valley of x (where x is any word).
Speaking of new games . . . Vampire is about to be expanded. Something big is on the horizon.

So, in spite of the flames on other threads about the bloat of wWoD as a game, I'm still vaguely holding out that I would run a Dark Ages game on here at some point. I'm mostly waiting for some RL stuff to settle down so I know I can commit to managing it.
A couple people have expressed an interest already, though I don't really expect to be available to run it for a couple months, yet. At the very least, I would want to let Valley of Blood get off its feet, so I know how much time that will take to play and for Dorian to run, I know I'll want to be in that.
Maybe I'll call it "Blood of Eden"?

Since I'll be moving to live on campus for the last six months of my PhD I'll have some free time...whether I have internet access in my room is a big if, however. I'd be keen to run something (WFRP makes sense as I've run that game since I was about 12, and I have a swag of the books; though Dark Heresy would be intriguing). If I ran WFRP, I'd use 2nd edition rules but 1st edition setting - no uber-magic-elves or Karl Franz-griphon-riding silliness for me.Loremaster wrote: Montresor should run an rpg. It's a big if for me to run anything, but if enough people showed interest I'd give it some serious thought.

"For the love of God, Montresor!"
"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!" - Edgar Allan Poe, The Cask of Amontillado.
