That sounds fine to me. Also allows us maximum creative allowance.

You of course. Sorry...I automatically associate the Metatron with the "voice of god", although I know it isn't actually an official designation. And you deleted your first post...hence...

Of course there's nothing to say you're going that way, which is why I posted it here, not in the game thread...like I said, it didn't really mean anything. Just a spontaneous comment.

Ah, I see. I hadn't taken any offense, I just really did not know who you were talking about. Heheheh.
Put your hand under my thigh. This is the righteous one. The mystery is that the world exists on these three: grace, judgment and mercy. He is appointed from the mystery above to resurrect those who sleep in the grave. He will come with the will from the one who is above to bring back the breath and the soul to the proper place.

If the game thread is for actual game chatter, where should I post more story-based background info. Registration?

Best to keep it in the game thread for now or save it, or the bulk of it, for the public turn later.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Do as he says,
not as I do... ;)
Who knows where madness lies?
To surrender Dreams, this may be madness, to seek treasure where there is only trash?
Too much sanity may be madness! But maddest of all is to see life as it is, and not how it should be!

Yes, the deadline to have in both your public and private turn will be the 17th. Post away in the game thread.

As far as the private turns go, your job is basically to convince me to allow what it is you want to happen. You can do that by the strength of your ideas. I'd prefer a more bare-bones version (especially if you go into future goals/plans - but, I like a good twist as much as the next guy, so feel free to surprise me, too), but I've also been known to be swayed by a well-written line. Basically, you're giving me the pitch and giving the public the product.

If you guys want a result for this turn, what would follow your reveal, it is simply this:

You are in hell.

Enjoy.

Oh, and if you want to give me a title, you may address me as The Overfiend. ;)

I'm very curious as to how this game will play out. I know what my approach to the game is, but I think I'm going to be doing a lot more reacting to results than I do in Pantheon. In Pantheon, I have specific, long-term goals that need DRPs to accomplish, and, no matter what, at least most of my DRPs go to those goals. Without domains and power, I'm not sure what specific goals I should have.

Oh, and btw, feel free to make some posts, folks!!!!!!!!!!!

Gah.

Personal (real world) life demands that I drop out. (Damn that real life!) but if I find the time later, I will join in (if possible)

Sorry guys!

I'm driving to North Carolina tomorrow. My sister's 40th birthday is Friday. Driving back Sunday. I believe Sunday is deadline for Turn 1, so, obviously, I won't be able to give too many reminders between now and then. So remember,
TURN 1 DEADLINE IS SUNDAY!

[The preceeding announcement was brought to you by Love, Inc. Remember our motto: When your life is filled with Love, ...uh... it's a pretty neat thing.]
