Favorite Romance Through RG?

Post by Farm Ur-Ted »

What's your favorite romance in the Malazan series? I'm a sucker for a sweet romance, and there have been so many in these books that they've kept me reading, even during the times when I don't understand what the hell else is going on. I would put in more options if I could; if you've got a favorite that's not listed, go ahead and write them in.

This one's tough. I wrote the damn poll, and can't decide. I gotta keep reading Reaper's Gale. If Taralack Veed bones a goat, then I'll have to write them in as my favorite romance.

I would have no trouble picking if the greatest romance was among the choices!

Apsalar and Cutter? I had them in there, but had to bump them for Anaster's parents. No way could I leave them out.

BTW, that last choice is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I'd put a laughing emoticon, but none suffice. :Hail:

Wow, that's quite a list you have there. I don't think I could possibly choose...

(To be honest, I can't remember who the second pair on the list are )

Ah, we cross-posted. No, not A & C. Did you finish RG?

Wow, I stumped Murrin! I may have spelled their names incorrectly, but they're the sweet romantic couple in the beginning of RG who are into bondage.

No, I'm only about 200 pages in. Should be done in a couple of weeks, in time for when my copy of TotH arrives.

Yeah, *so* many great romances from which to choose. Tanal and Janath, indeed! Eww. :|

I voted for Tehol and Shurq (altho Tehol and the leader of the Ratcatchers' Guild might have been a better pairing...). It was a tossup between them and Paran and Tattersail.

My favourite romance of the whole series is Icarium and Mappo.
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

I'm sure those crazy kids will get back together and rekindle a passion not seen since Adam West and Burt Ward.

Yeah, Hetan's who I meant. Couldn't remember her name. I could just remember the grease.
