My fellow members of Andelain,

We posted the following in the forum for The Andelainian Alliance, but I am unsure how often our fellow members check the forum boards.

...got room for one more in the AA?

It's Radiosilence, Stone.

I don't know if he knows about Donaldson yet, but he's the founder and president of Cheese Producers over on World 20. So far, he's good peeps.

I'm easy if he wants in. If nobody else objects and I don't see why they should, tell him to send me or Syl a telegram and we can invite him in.

Coolness.
Let me wait for Syl and Stone to say yay or nay first.

Having heard from Syl and Stone in Andelain itself, I contacted Europa Twins and suggested he request an invite. So, I think this is now pending until he actually receives the invite. With the holidays, I am unsure if he sent the request yet, but wanted to let y'all know to keep an eye open for it.

By the way, his main nation on World 20, RadioSilence, was just named Nation of the Year 2008 by the alliance that picks Nation of the Month there. I think we'll all be glad to have him among us, should he stay. :)

Thanks all.

What world are you on, Cleburne?
Come on over to World 88 and join us in Andelain!!
Even though it's "overfull," it looks like people can still switch over. They just can't "create" nations on World 88 anymore.

Let me know if you get the "error processing this template" message if you do try to change worlds. I went through all that already...

I hope all of you playing get to see the various issues Stone is proposing as Inis Rua to the devs using the "write your own issues" link. As a member of Cheese Producers, he's going with food-related issues, but they are all simply awesome!

Keep it up, if you can, Stone.
They have all given me a good chuckle, and I love the results picking the different options produce.

Now try to come up with some Donaldsonian related ones to submit as Tory... ;)

and it's called 'Leper Outcast Unclean'

Letters of protest have been published in @nationNews@ about the new private leprosy clinic in @nationCity@

"Can you believe there are lepers right here in @nationCity@?! People would be protesting outside if they weren't so scared to go near the place! It should be closed down immediately, and the lepers sent to an island somewhere. Or, even better, deport them!" writes 'Horrified from @nationName@'

"Nonsense," replies Dr Linden Avery. "Leprosy is not a contagious disease - well, not really! Lepers are just normal people and should be able to get treatment just like everyone else. But, perhaps, the clinic should be re-sited in a remote area. Just so that people don't worry, you understand."

"Hellfire and damnation!" mutters Thomas Covenant, half-handed leper. "I'm on medication and I'm not contagious any more. If I want to pay my telephone bill at the post office or have a drink in a bar, that's exactly what I'll do! We're not living in the Middle Ages any more..."

results
opt 1 - Messianic cults are protesting the absence of lepers in @nationName@
opt 2 - Suspected lepers are stoned from @nationCity@
opt 3 - An entire block of @nationCity@ stands deserted.

effects
opt 1 - civil rights down alot,
opt 2 - civil rights down
opt 3 - civil rights up, antibiotic industry up?

...damn...

You really are good at this Stone.

Although, perhaps Tory should have posted this on the Andelain forum, so Europa Twins could begin to get some idea of what the alliance is about...

Cleburne, make sure you leave any alliances you may belong to, other than your continental one. If you need help moving, feel free to ask. I'll be glad to help as I am able.
