well, as the old TSR catch-phrase was: "Products for your imagination"...
;)

really... from the point where the DM described, just let you imagination take you ... I find it's a better effect.
heheheh
Although I do beleive the good DM will be providing a pic soon...

You're not, I don't think...

I'm pretty sure I've read most of the main supplements, and this particular type of demon did not appear in any of them. Of course, I haven't read the Planar Handbook, so if any of you know of a book with a demon like this, or the Chain Demon, please let me know.

Either way, you won't find it on D20, Mother.

Hey all. I've been in touch with our kind DM. He's been quite ill since Friday and tells me the next update is going to be quite involved. He begs our indulgence, as he wants to give it the attention it deserves, and he truly does not have the energy to do so at the current time.
He has no idea when he will feel well again, but he didn't want to leave us hanging.

Feel well soon, Mephiston!

In the meantime, we are free to continue role playing back ground stories, or whatever, in the main chamber as we wait...

I'm dropping out from the game, sorry guys. Lack of interest mostly, and a lack of time with my new job. I barely have time to read, and I work at a library. heh. anyway, I'll keep reading, but I'm outskees.

Ehm... i know that the lack of interest is my fault, but the holydays kept me away from the pc and i had not time to spare for the story. If you want to follow the story now i'm sure i'll be pretty much present and so i hope to recover your interest...

I can't do anything for the time you can spend on the game...

I'm sorry that you leave the game... i hope you can think on it and change your mind.

edit:
speaking of which... i ask you all to let me know if there is anything in the game you don't like, before the problem cross the threshold...

re-edit:
since i was away from the forum for a long time, i could forget to process some request (for example a skill check required or anything else) please let me know if i did it :D

Nah, no worries Paolo. My tastes change regularly, and fantasy has been moved to the bottom. Dunno why. Ask my psyche. :D

The mechanics are similar to a cryptex.

instead the lecters, it has the six words.

So...
*visualizing adaptation*

six rows of six tiles = 36 different tiles
then for each new word in the first position each of the remaining five spaces can be set in five different orders...

 :faint:

anyone able to do the math?

Our good DM has suggested that when I make my humble attempts at posting in Elven, that I supply a translation in parenthesis underneath. I responded that it was my impression not all in the party could understand Elven fluently. He dismissed that notion, saying all currently active members of the party do know Elven...

So, for the most recent anyway:

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=675941#675941

It may not be 100% accurate, but I am trying.

LOL.. I guess we better be careful now, eh?...
;)

... as a footnote to this, Almost all of Renard's elvish (and he is a beginner) are terms of endearment...

Depends on if it is in thread or not, I assume...

Ahkash wrote:The half-elf shrugged, and thanked the elemental, then turning to the small pile on the floor, added the brown gem to it.

"Well Druid?" He asked, "Has the book told you anything?"

He looked round at the rest of the party..."I have taken my stone already...the others you can divide between you, although I suggest the Druid keep the earth-powerful one."
i love Ahkash's pragmatism

Inside the hole there are six gems and a book.
I do not believe Mephiston said anything about what the gems were.
