Honestly, there's no reason to read anything other than the final story in the 1st Anthology......

Pride before the fall. That phrase, while wise, is not applicable here. You see, I didn't write the final story in the 1st Anthology, because I'm not a writer.

Here we go again.

Oh, and I meant to ask,
Is the deadline still 29 August, 2008 [or August 29, 2008, or 2008/29-August]
that falls (or late summers) on a Saturday?
If so, can someone loan me the keys to the Ceasura?

No, the very first post in this thread, at kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=675598#675598, shows that the deadline has changed. As far as I know, currently the deadline is open, until the selection committee feels there are enough worthy submittals to continue forth.

Two nights ago I dreamed of the theme of a story I was planning. That provided the answer I needed to write it. So as of this morning I started writing my anthology entry. It's titled, "Unnatural Animals'. I've been writing for 20 minutes now, and it feels right. It does not feel as though I am forcing the narrative or theme. I expect it to be completed in a week.

I'm 2/3rds through with a story called Red, which features exploding helicopters, grenade launchers and machine-like things raiding a bunker after the world has ended. If you like claustrophobia and rebar sticking through your torso, this one's for you.

I've already sent Coronation Day, so you guys will have two stories to choose from, in the end. Just depends on whether you like grenade launchers or auto-assault shotguns, I guess.

I'm madly trying to finish my story right now. However, it will not be ready by the 28th, I am sorry. Could I have until the 30th, please?

Sorry everyone! I am only three and-a-half thousand words from completing my story. I will be able to submit it very soon.
