I just added more to the first post: SO, UH, HOW DO I PLAY?

Also, the eight of you have all picked different initial villages. :D Thank Xar! But unless you want to see Deathburg and Veltville on the map, a couple of you should tell me the names of your villages.

...yes, indeed...
I was worried.
...based on what I wound up writing.
Light of the world, shine on me
Love is the answer
Shine on us all, set us free
Love is the answer

And when you feel afraid, love one another
When you've lost your way, love one another
When you're all alone, love one another
When you're far from home, love one another
When you're down and out, love one another
All your hopes run out, love one another
When you need a friend, love one another
When you're near the end, love one another
We got to love one another

Yes, I got it. Veltville and Deathburg are directed at two others.

Menolly, how does one do italics and make other changes to fonts in the signature?

Same way as when you post, caam.
Signature takes BBC code.
You're limited to how many characters though.
And I believe that includes the characters of the code.

Thank you Odin :)

I think my inner muse has started singing again. I haven't been able to write anything in so long. But that took me about a half hour and it just came tumbling out.

Hehehehe...it seems that Lliannon was just a little put out that you gave the credit for it to me and not her. She'll get over it tho.

I'm still a bit confused at how this all works, but I'm sure I'll catch on once it actually gets going and I watch what the other players do. :)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

This brings up a question for when we do submit Turns, SomeFather, sir.
What format shall our submittals take?
Do you wish for stories to back up our actions in our submittals?
Or submit bullet lists of our actions only (to make your job easier), supporting our actions (once processed) in the Game and/or Stories thread(s), if we feel a need to do so?

My preference is to keep my writing between those who have to read it only as much as possible. But, I also know of your dislike for long stories...

Looking forward to your reply.

And, nice job, Alcifer!

On the subject of village names, I don't want the bother of coming up with something creative, so I've decided to go for the deliberately unoriginal and obvious (you'll see). Now if only I could work out my reveal...

I dunno, I kinda like Veltville. I can't really think of anything better (I've been waiting to sit down and get to work on all this stuff).

Go with Veltton.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I have *one, two, three, four, five, six...* at least six other identities here who know exactly how she feels.

OK, there's only three left, and they're all experienced players. Let's set the Revelation deadline for Sunday, the 8th, at 11PM GMT. (You can always see GMT here: wwp.greenwichmeantime.com) Then we'll get to Turn 1.

AND

Turn 1 will begin with you. Revelations are just a, "Hi. I'm Bubbah, God of Gravy." It just introduces you and your Prophet. After all Revs are posted, I'll open the Game thread, and post a deadline for Turn 1 submissions.

You did answer me privately, and for that I thank you. However...
From a few private communications I've had,
some of the newer players to this style of game seem to think we post our turn submittals in thread, and are planning on seeing what others do to base their own moves on.

Could you please elaborate a bit more on how submittals work here for everyone to see?
Do you want PMs or emails?
Bullet lists and/or reinforcing stories (yeah I know, I already asked you, but again, I think an explanation needs to be here)?
etc., etc., etc.,

I'm still adjusting what I send to the AllFather each Turn...

Thanks.
