A good night, the best in a long time
A new friend turned me on to an old favorite
Nothing better than a GM who plays
Play hard, convince them to play

What's my game of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it alot

Seems so sick to the hypocrite norm
Running their boring drills
But we are an elite race of our own
The gods, vampires, and freaks

Are you happy? I am, man.
Content and fully aware
WGDs, forum mods, nothing to me.
'Cause your forum is empty and bare

What's my game of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it alot
I do it alot

You can't understand a gamer's mind
But try, with your books and degrees
If you let yourself go and opened your mind
I'll bet you'd be playing like me
And it ain't so bad

What's my game of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it alot
Say, I do it alot

I do it alot!
I do it alot!
Say, I do it alot!
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

"I do it alot!"
That post is so well stated
Nicely done there, Syl!

What's my game of choice?
The one I play so often
This one played with words

But as you have said
In another place and time
I ought not throw stones

Two Buddhist Monks were on a journey, one was a senior monk, the other a junior monk. During their journey they approached a raging river and on the river bank stood a young lady. She was clearly concerned about how she would get to the other side of the river without drowning.

The junior monk walked straight past her without giving it a thought and he crossed the river. The senior monk picked up the woman and carried her across the river. He placed her down, they parted ways with woman and on they went with the journey.

As the journey went on, the senior monk could see some concern on the junior monk's mind, he asked what was wrong. The junior monk replied, "how could you carry her like that? You know we can't touch women, it's against our way of life". The senior monk answered, "I left the woman at the rivers edge a long way back, why are you still carrying her?"

Wait... so... there's no girls in Calvinball. He shoulda pelted her with a water balloon first, then she wouldn't have minded walking across the river on her own.

Wrong game, shorty. Our game is over in GT Talk.

Girls are more than welcome in this game. Not many around, but the ones I've scented do not offend this tiger's nose one bit. :hobbes:

Wow. Well, the story of Alcifer's people is turning out to be more complicated than I expected. Nothing crazy, but it's taking a while to write it. Anyway, I'm working on the turn.

Doesn't surprise me.

Not with the followers of at least two deities already having been among his people for a year or so.

I got a lot more done today than I expected to. It's Father's Day, after all. Being father of the Norse gods takes a bit of time, eh? Anyway, I expect Tuesday night at the latest.

What do you care?? You know how your turn went, right? A double-massive attack on an army that, as it turned out, just sat there. Just start writing your next turn. heh

Still, a cryptic hint or seven would be nice...
...other than "The Inevitables are defeated."

huh? Why Agapé specifically?
She had nothing to do with this most current turn's action against them.
Her action the season before was to try and help them.

After all, you know all about meddling in these games. ;)

Because snipped-out portions of quotes are never included for a reason, right?

I will admit I'm confused.
I wasn't quoting, but paraphrasing.
Otherwise I would have used the quote feature.

Odin keeps saying most actions went well because they focused on The Inevitable. To quote him exactly,
Odin wrote:Look at it this way... When I do get to the turn, it'll be easy. The war went exceedingly well for UrUk, since Nergal left. The Inevitable are destroyed.

No conflicts anywhere means, by and large, you all accomplished what you tried. Not necessarily everything. When I read them, I'll probaby find that some tried things they can't do, or can't do that easily. But, in general, a successful turn for all.

So start working on your next turns, and it'll be easier when results come out.
But that is pretty much all he has told us.
What reason would you have snipped out the rest of my quote for?

Have some pity on me Murrin.
Subtle I am not, and if there is something you are saying by posting such it is totally flying over my head.
