Mark VII was the first I saw, stuck in a little strip at the back of the mid-80s Transformers comics. So that gets my vote.

Looking at all the armors, I don't see much of a difference between the Mk IV and Mk V.The gloves are different, and the two chest plate knobs are located differently; that's it. They forgot the short-lived version that had the nose....the Mk IV.I, perhaps. I grew up with the Mk IV, and until now, never noticed the changes that made it the Mk. V. That being said, my favorite is the Extremis armor.
