Your Favourite Sunbane

Post by Landwaster »

Which Sunbane manifestation would you least despise being susceptible to?

I reckon the wet one would probably be easier to survive. By least preferred would be the Sun of pestilence. What horror! :(

They all sounded pretty horrid to me -- and yes, pestilence sounded like it might have been the nastiest of the lot... :?

I chose the Desert sun because I live in the desert and have a high tolerance to extreme heat. I'd hate it if it just rained all the time...like in Seattle (I live in Utah). Brr....hypothermia.

Rain was the most fun and the least annoying.

I chose the sun of pestilence since it is the only sun that showes itself for what it really is (= sick!). If I am going to fight, I would like to know my enemy...

I chose the Fertile sun, I know it would make it difficult to travel but at least you would have something to eat.

Like a day at the water park
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.

You can have those trees. I'd say the sun of rain felt the least perverted or tortured. Cleaned everything away, kind of. And unlike the desert sun, it provided life-giving water.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I chose the desert sun, I like deserts. (Not the heat though.)

The screaming of the trees would be horrible!

Fertile Sun...but I wouldn't want to feel the trees' pain that Linden's health sense gave her under a Fertile Sun. :(

the ends would justify the means, if the sunbane got lost after growing those trees... but it doesn't... so the fertile sun would b excutiating...

but its still the best option i think.

I think the fertile sun is the most evil sun of all. The pestilence with insects and infection would seem to be the most evil. But that fertile sun and the insane growth that it produces is surely the most manipulative of the sunbane.
