I particularly like Covenant's casting - actually a lot of the characters are well cast - Lena, Bannor, Linden. Hmm, glad you were bored...

it was fun. I think we are going to have to work on Eric Roberts and James Gandolfini's speech and delivery. I will talk to them.....I'm sure they wont mind.

Lorin.... Thank you for the hard work and your wonderful imagination..your casting is impeccable, and your avatar is great.!! If you dont mind though, I had kinda thought that Lindens character(at least in my mind) may have been the mother of the small boy in the movie Close encounters of the Third kind.(now you can guess how OLD I am ..LOL) See if you can pull up any stills from that movie and give me your opinion. But, then again, we cant time warp that actress from the past to play her in the here and now so your choice of Julianne Moore is dead on..Thanks-H

You are thinking of Melinda Dillon - they (she and Julianna have that similar frazzled look about them.....Linden's benchmark.) Good choice! But my agents just wont consider her cause she's something like 79 now.

my only hesitation is Peter O'Toole. I think he is a little too flamboyant for Variol and may act out during filming. I am considering Ian Holm instead. He was very good in Alien.

I would probably stick with Peter o Toole,Lorin, I think Ian Holm has too much presence, and O Toole looks older..Go with your first choice. -H

This is Prothal. Sean Connery has a quality for such parts.

Sean Connery, if he came out of retirement, could play any part he wants and I'd be happy.

Hellfire, he could play Linden, if he wanted to. At least then I wouldn't get so annoyed with her whining!

Wait, have I officially crossed over into THOOLAH? :o

Christopher Plummer would do well as any of the Lords.

Hugh Laurie would be prefect as TC. I can't believe I never thought of that...

It's sad that the absolute best person to play Foamfollower is no longer with us. If you *really* want to play dream cast, I say Andre the Giant.

I've always pictured the Giants to be Mediterranean in appearance.

Anthony Quinn would have been my Foamfollower.

I think Connery is an excellent actor and would be wonderful as Prothal but to me, if I were actually doing the casting I think Connery would dominate the screen and would would overshadow any other character, including anyone that played Covenant. Connery cannot play a supporting role - he is a lead character in my eyes. Of course a real actor would respond to this by saying that a properly trained thespian can restrain themselves and play 'down' to the part.

Would it be too 'duh' or pc to have Jet Li as Bannor?

I think just about everyone on the list would be happily fitting to me, except Brad as Foamfollower.

He's might be a little on in years now, but I think Brian Blessed would be perfect. And he has a fantastic laugh.
