Still too frozen, we'll check again in a couple of weeks. This is so frustrating. I want her here where she belongs.
Your love amazes me.

Here is something Aunt Tracie wrote. Not sure when, Dad has been looking through her journals and this piece of paper fell out. Actually, alot of pieces of paper fell out. But, this one grabbed hold of me.

This is hope everlasting
Grace beyond breath
Here, the light illuminates all things
All things, all life, all death
I walk here
I walk amongst the grandeur, the glorious
A sweet music chimes
A sweet voice sings
This is hope everlasting
Faith beyond prayer
All those, all
Pour themselves out
Souls call
Souls cry
I hear
I hear the weeping
This is hope everlasting
Comfort beyond warmth
This is hope everlasting
Peace beyond peace
Love beyond love -STM (Tracie) Hammon

Miss you, Aunt Tracie. So much.

Over time my heart breaks
pieces lay in shards at my feet
I know the pain of love
joy mends and peace descends
and over time my heart forgets
cycles begin anew
I bow my head and pray
May I find strength to face each day --STM (Tracie) Hammon
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

Here's another, we believe it's about Uncle Steve:

Don’t take this wrong,
But it came close to being about loss
Oh the tears your eyes leaked
The dancing confused you
The music of discord
And they moved disjointed

Don’t take this wrong
But it came close to being about frenzy
And you stood still
They brushed by you
Grazed your limp limbs
A static host of bodies
And you thought it all odd
You thought it all off

I took it all wrong
It came close to being about chaos
And I failed to remember
Just who you were
Your eyes flashed, your arms rose up
And the sky fell, the music halted
They all collapsed at your feet
You fell to your knees, you drew them all in

Don’t take this wrong
But of you, I am in utter awe
And you say to me
“Don’t take this wrong
“But, from you, I draw strength.
From you I draw hope.
From you I draw peace and…
From you, I draw the essence of love.” –STM (Tracie) Hammon

I guess this is as good a place as any, since I've been away and now the Glorious Passing thread is locked. :(

Tracie, I am honored to have shared life with you.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Huggles Luke |G

Mom's memorial thread was locked after her letter was posted. Many here thought it would be appropriate and that commenting here, for now, would be best.

I do plan to start a thread, much like this one, posting Mom's journals and poems. It will be awhile tho, hopefully this summer sometime.

Hello all, I'm Heidi. Brooke has told me so much about everyone here. Our Mom loved coming here and being a part of this community. I thought I would join in as well.

Over the past several weeks, I have been coming here and just reading all that Mom wrote. I was in awe of all the love and support everyone here gave her and us during her illness. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone.

You find friends in the least expected places. It's amazing just how many people that you don't know yet will become the ones you will most treasure...

My mom said this to me right before I left for school.

God bless,

Heidi

Welcome to the Watch, Angel Daughter!

Although we never met, your mother was a friend and an inspiration to me and to so many other people here. I am so happy you have joined Russ, Brooke, and Jordan here -- both as friends in this community and as witnesses to the angel who graced this site with her Love.
Love prevails.

How do you get Mom's flame in the avatar itself?
