On another subject, I freakin' hate gmail! With hotmail, I have a Turns folder. I put my submitals and my results in it. Easy as pie. Yeah, I can make a Turns folder in gmail, but that doesn't mean I can move an email into it! How about Archiving? Fine, as long as you NEVER want any of them individually again, because they're all permanently fused from now on. Will a response to an Archived message show up anywhere? I have no idea. We'll see.
Even if you archive, as long as there is a new response in the Conversation, it will show up in your Inbox. I just label everything VoE, and sort it out with second labels like VoE turn1, VoE turn2, etc...

Maybe that will help. :)

On a second note, I've already made edits to one turn after talking with one character, so feel free to let me know what you were thinking, or to elaborate. As I said I have more free time now, so the delay wont be NEARLY as long.

For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

Works for me, Pathfinder.
I'm going nuts with how quiet all my other games have been.

...just need some others to start posting things on the Valley Floor...

Count me in for next weekend, I already have an idea of what I want to do!! :)

I'm probably going to do Mom's turn for her in Aesir too. She's got way too much going on, so she asked me if I would like to do it.

Good heavens!
Pathfinder, just how many adjustments to private turns are you going to allow, should need arise?

*nodding*

Furls has been hinting to me that she was going to ask Fire Daughter to do that for the short term, at least for the summer, for the past several turns in Aesir, as she really has been feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm glad Fire Daughter has agreed. :grinlove:

She basically told me what she wants to happen, so I'll be following her lead with it. :D

Public turn posted, private turn sent. :D
As he rushed to quench his thirst,
A fountain spring appeared before him
And as his heated breath brushed through the cool mist,
A liquid voice called, "Son of gods, drink from my spring".

The water tasted strangely sweet.
Behind him the voice called again.
He turned and saw her, in a cloak of mist alone
And as he gazed, her eyes were filled with the darkness of the lake.

I hope I can keep up with my character after I get back to school. I'm really having alot of fun with this. My brother, Jordan said he would continue it for me if I'm not able too tho. He's got an awesome imagination! So, if he does, I'm sure he'll do a good job keeping Shalaylie going. :D

I have all my pre-lim work done, but I haven't been able to work on the turn for days. After three years of not talking, I'm going to be going up north to visit my Dad for a week, and that has been dominating my time for the last two weeks. I love the ideas that this game brought forth, mine and yours, but it got a lot more complex than I planned. I wont be able to continue running it right now, and am going to put it on hold until further notice. I'm also keeping all the Plot in one folder, so it'll be easy to restart. Thanks for the great game! Even though it was a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. The Valley will be a topic for my craetive out for a long time to come. :)

Yes, two turns is way too short!
But even at that legnth, it allowed me to explore a character mind set very different from others I have played.

Thanks Pathfinder!
Mesulina and the Salmacians will await your return by quietly circulating through the Valley to nourish all as they have for centuries.

May all go well between you and your Dad.

Hail!
