Im alot freer now, work wise, so want to take advantage of it and maintain a decent post count, especially early week periods.

Also, the game has effectively moved on to the second stage, that is, a lot freer and open world. Sorry it took so long but now it starts proper. If you would like more or minimum direction from me, don't be afraid to PM me.

For actions thus far, I would like to award both Louis and Raphaelus 80Xp for sticking to character and setting the score for the up coming game. Montresor will be rewarded once he gets himself out of this predicament he is in.

Good to go again, as stated in other threads.
Druids gather at the circle of stones,
To worship the ancient ones.

In the glow of a dying red sun,
Their rites of evil have only just begun...

So I come back, and it turns out I've lost (No doubt foolishly deleted by accident) some of my old work I had done for this. No biggy. I went to roll Raphaelus's Haggle check. His fellowship isnt ideal, plus hes in a foreign land and being tight arsed so his chances were low to say the least. He rolled a 7. Thats right a 7. Thats bordering on a critical success that is.

If that roll is anything to go by, then times should go well for the hagged old scholar.

Just wanted to drop in and say that:

A) I am looking forward to being able to get back into this game, though it will probably take me until the first week of the new year to get the time, and

B) I thought that the following post was absolutely fantastic:
Louis de la Forêt wrote:Louis turns to the man. Crouching down, well used to mud from his days as a hunter, nonetheless, the spiritual miasma of pain and desperation here makes him feel... uneasy. Violated in a way that dirt shouldn't be able to do. Dirt was where life grew, it was dirty, but there was no harm in that. But here, these people lived in fear of their own future.

How pathetique! If only they knew how, they could just go into the woods and live much better than this.

"Old man. Do you understand me? Can you speak? I am looking for a man. A Gustan man. He crawled out of the river last night, right here. Did you see him?"
"For the love of God, Montresor!"
"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!" - Edgar Allan Poe, The Cask of Amontillado.

Thanks much. I finally got around to reading Zarkov and Malachi's trip into the asteroid. The dirt and grime there was much more palpable than Andrea's high-class outing. It got me into the right headspace to use words like miasma.
