The deadline has passed for submissions however if any of you need more time you only have to ask. The committee will need time to review the submissions so don't feel like you are holding up the works.
Submission team members should check in and give us some idea where we stand.
Authors check in and make sure we've recieved your submissions.
Editor please report to the bridge.
Let's get busy.

I'm forced to agree however if we're genuinely interested in quality over quantity then we'll simply have to examine what we have and determine if it is suitable for publication.
Frankly I see nothing wrong with just publishing Loremaster's story and calling it a day. I'd buy it.
Seriously though we need to find out if any more submissions are forthcoming and then decide how to proceed.
Considering the vast amount of material that is presented in the Hall of Gifts I'm always somewhat surprised at the response to the Anthology.
Must be a failure with our marketing department.

I have another story that is close to being done, but I am not sure its subject material would fit. I was going to submit it to the Corraddi. However, I would be willing to submit it here when its done if that helps flesh things out...should have it done in a couple more weeks tops...?

Oh Lore, as busy as Montresor is, that would be a real coup for the the anthology if you can talk him in to it. I've only seen the atmospheric pieces he wrote for the Sisters of Solace in Borderlands, as well as the public thread write-ups for Borderlands and Pantheon, but those were all chillingly awesome...
Having said that I would write a SF story for your anthology all I've got to submit is an apology. The past two months have just been too hectic to say the least. I've only a few scribbled lines and some rough sketches in my notebook, light years away from a first draft. I wouldn't dare submit what I have - a piece of work equivalent to a poor man's Jackson Pollock - zooks!
Ok, I could write out a poem this evening and shape it over the weekend.
There was some excellent lunar activity this evening which had to be written down anyway. A poem will be a lot more fun!

There's some rather prolific poets here at the Watch. I would have guessed we'd have tons of poetry submitted.
hmm...
Can an original piece already posted as a note on Facebook be submitted?
Would the Facebook note version need to be deleted?

There is no problem with your work being available elsewhere. There are no exclusive publication agreements with the Anthology.

Thanks, TOM, you confirmed my faulty memory. We don't have a problem with stuff "published" elsewhere. If you (meaning the generic "you", not you personally, Menolly -- or Hyperception either, as I assume it's him you're talking about, and why doesn't he just get his own darn FB account? but I digress...) would submit it to a real, live, paying publication and they accept it, *they* might have a problem with your piece being in the Anthology. But as we're doing print-on-demand, it would be very easy for us to delete your submission from subsequent volumes.
