2009 Best Gravin Threndor Deity Nominations and Discussion

Post by Menolly »

Which is your favorite Gravin Threndor deity in Acropolis, Aesir, or Pantheon?
Eligible deities are those with either turns or results posted in 2009.

Nominate.

I'm going to have to say Madadeva. Partially because I'm in the Sunset Court, and I get to see a lot of his behind-the-scenes behavior, but he's managed to be a very active deity who fully embraces his core concepts, without becoming bogged down in silliness as a result.

Yeah, I'll second that psycho-bastard!

I nominate Zephyr. He has brought fight and backbone to the Bahkti line! And his faux grief over Calais transformation was nothing short of BRILLIANT!

I gotta say, I found Tawhiri-matea's single-minded pursuit of Eiran-shattering power kinda cool. And the nature of that power, that amazing storm...! Deserving of a nomination. :D

Although several deities in Pantheon stand out, for the purposes of this Watchy I'd like to nominate Bel. Not only has Murrin created a god of peace who follows his area of influence in a very unusual way, and not only has he come up with several creative solutions as to how to force a message of peace on others without going to war, but he has been an extraordinary good sport in the last few turns (though unfortunately I can't share exactly what I'm talking about yet).

I'll second Bel.

I second Agapé
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.
