One thing missing from all of ESPN's extensive coverage of the last 24 hours of the King, is the breaking story that ESPN analyst Jeremy Greene was just busted for 1st degree posession of child pornography, posession of narcotics, and posession of paraphenalia. Yes extensive coverage and insight from the world wide leader using the" King of Shame" to cover their own. Very classy.

The Heat got Bosh too, so they got a big man. I hate the NBA tho, so I don't care. But, this type of nonsense happens in all sports. See, Philly even hates the good ones (McNabb), so when its time for them to go, oh well. That's a better approach then investing so much in athletes, especially when they're in their twenties.

I dunno, Lebron's been taking a roasting in the press as far as I can see. He has managed to turn himself from a face to a heel, to use WWE terms.

He's correct when he says it's a business. In the end, he doesn't really owe anything to anyone but himself. If that's what he thought was the best deal, fine. It's the way he did it, with an hour tv show, that is off-putting.

The one who has to be grinning from ear-to-ear today is David Stern. More press over the last few weeks than the league has had in a long time. Fans in a half a dozen cities riled up. The NBA hype machine will be going into overdrive this year.

Yeah I love Chris Bosh, but you need a few more big bods to face down Gasol and (if healthy) Bynum...

LeBrons return to Cleveland last night was uneventful. There was booing, and chanting of course, and the Cavs lost big surprise there, but there were no lynch mobs, no jerseys burnt, and no violence. However one Cleveland Fan had the audacity to point at LeBron as he entered the arena, the fan was immediately arrested, and removed. The extra security present did a masterful job of keeping any further pointing incidents from occurring, and the "King of Miami" was kept safe. After the game Lebron commented on the feelings he still had for Cav's fans, and that's nice. We should always remember the people we step on to get where we are going.

Lebron is an ass(hole)

glad to see that Miami is struggling. Boston is still better in the East.

Whatever; the beginning of the season obviously wasn't as good an indicator as you hoped it was.

well from seeing the celebration after Miami beat the Celtics - I must have not realized the finals had already happened?

they still have to get through Chicago and whoever the west sends before we can crown them.

They'll probably beat Chicago, but who knows how they'll fare against the West winners.

Chicago has a very good team - if Boozer gives them anything. he has been hurt for th last couple of seasons though. he seems to fragile to be an elite player. Rose is great and they have plenty of shooting.

I like Joakim Noah. He was great at UF. I'd like to see him win it all in the NBA, too. Miami's in Florida, so I'll be rooting for the East, no matter which team makes it. Of course, I'll be rooting harder for the Lightning in the NHL, because they're right here.

Bruins in the NHL. :)

I wrote a song about Kyle Korver so it would be cool if he won. with the Spurs (Matt Bonner) and Celts out I don't have any hometown interest.

did you get to see Bonner play when he was a Gator?

I believe I watched him playing on the '99-'00 team that made it to the NCAA championship; but I only watched their run on TV; I've never been to a Gators game.

I have never been to any basketball game ever. college, hs or pro.

every year we try to make a Matt Bonner game - but something comes up.

seen on eNFL game in person and a whole bunch of major league baseball. no NHL game ever. I wish Houston had an NHL team.

Chicago looked good tonight. :)

wow - yet again the Heat celebrate before the fact. this time the Mavs come roaring back.

the Heat may well win this series - but they may want to play the entire game to do so.

James held to 8 points in Miami’s Game 4 loss

I have been saying this for awhile - but i don't get a sense of James rising to his supposed status.

I grew up watching Larry Bird, so maybe I am spoiled.
