I think you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. And I guess you throw in the fact that the Elohim are running for their lives, they have more important things to worry about.

Also, I think Jeremiah is viewed as a sort of poison. The Elohim don't want to touch him, because he might be detrimental to them... hell, he might use them in a construct if they get close enough, physically or with their power. This could be because they understand that Jeremiah could be a serious threat to them, but they don't understand anything else about him... and Elohim aren't use to that.

I'm hoping that during some point in TLD, Covenent will slip back into his memories and relive Kevin and Foul enacting the Ritual of Desecration. I would love to read a detailed account of how that went down.

The idea that TC is an aspect of, or will become Lord Foul is not a new idea and not mine. The idea that there will be a desecration (a first or second) is also not new. Time travel is a medium in these chronicles and the laws governing the dead are broken....so not so far fetched or wildly over-imaginative I think....

I think too that as a writer SRD would really be able to get his rocks off writing it...if he so chose to.

I am pretty sure that TC healed his mind with wild magic during the encounter with Joan within the caesure. So that can't happen..

The first series was only worth it to me by the second time. The second seriest and last series, really only by the third time. I will read them all at least a fourth time, probably more.

More predictions. Based on the theory that I have independently developed... well, I should get into that:

Jeremiah, Linden, and Thomas are mortal versions of the 'Land Trinity', namely the Creator, SHE, and Foul. As a result, I think Jeremiah will trap Linden and Thomas in one of his constructs... hell, that construct might even have one of the white gold rings as a piece. Jeremiah will do this either on accident or because he'll think it's better for Linden and Thomas. This will happen before the end, I'm not sure what will happen afterwards.

Based on a discussion over in the AATE GI thread, I believe that the Worm's devouring of the Land/Earthpower/Elohim/whatever's on the menu will lead to 'new life'... perhaps a new world, in this case. And I'd be all right with that.
