No, not a new game. Can we slow down on the creation of stupid games here, folks? It seems some of you just want to up your post count. I don't want to point my finger at any of you, but if you do search of all your posts in Mallorys some of you will be surprised at how much of your total post count has been gained in this forum. There are some genuine, creative, games here but they have been snowed under by all the abc trash or 'if you post here . . . '. It looks like it is time for this forum to be heavily edited.

This is just a suggestion. I would appreciate any feedback on the matter.
For the purpose of creating order in Mallory's, but still allowing people to have fun and doing what they wanted, would anyone object to the following rules:
1) All of the current topics in Mallory's will be deleted.
2) There will be a limit on the maximum number of games of a single type that will be allowed to be "active" at a particular moment in time. My suggestion is 5. For example, there would only be 5 ABC topics and 5 Word Association topics allowed to be "active" at a time. Active meaning unlocked.
3) There will be a limit on the maximum number of pages that a particular game can reach, at which point it will be locked. My suggestion is 25 pages. After the game is locked, any person can start a "continuation" topic of that game. For example, once "Guess the Next Poster" reaches 25 pages, someone can start "Guess the Next Poster (2)". Continuation topics still fall under the "5 games per type" rule.
4) There will be a limit on a maximum number of games that each member can start and have active at a particular time. My suggestion is 5 or 7.
5) All games will be allowed, no matter how silly. However, I hold the right to lock any topic or game that I feel to be inappropriate, such as the "Double post topic."
Now, I feel that this is a fair compromise, that makes everyone happy.
If, however, you are not happy with any of these rules, please let me know. And I'm serious. If you think any of these are unfair, or you object to any of these rules, please let me know. I will listen.
My goal at the Watch is to create an environment where everyone can have fun. As impossible as that sounds, heh. If anyone is discontent, they need to just let me know, and I'll do everything in my power to rectify the sitation. And I am open to ideas/comments/suggestions on my proposal to reform Mallory's. Thank you.-jay

1. Where are the locked games? I went through several pages and didn't see any.
2. With all due respect to Jay, can someone get that guy a valium, or a laxative, an acupuncturist, a small furry animal, or something?

I'm not getting on board with this at all. I could care less about posting in Mallorys again. I can make my book on the Tank and Vespers. but since when is Mallory so lower class than, say General Discussion. because if we are honest that thread could use culling as well. but I can't ride with all of this negative posting for Mallory garbage. disable post count then. I do not cotton to someone telling me which posts of mine are worthy of some hollow number. and we have also heard limiting the number of items purchased per individual. I'm not quite sure what the point is to free discourse if we want a group to dictate what we can post and not post.
do what you want.
