Mine's on the way with a predicted delivery date of 7/12. I'm hoping it comes today.

My Kindle edition is supposed to be beamed to me tomorrow. I never finished AFfC though, and it's been a while, so I have restarted the series from the beginning - want it to be fresh when I get to ADwD. Just hope I can avoid the spoilers... I hear there are some big shockers.

I won't order mine until I finish Crippled God, which will likely take another 2 weeks or so. I must say I'm tempted to reread the first four books before getting into AWDW......

Downloading it right now from Audible. I about squealed and gamboled around the room for joy when I learned Roy Dotrice has returned as the reader; his characterizations are just masterly. Why they ever hired a much poorer reader for A Feast for Crows is beyond my understanding.

If I'd only gotten my re-listening of the previous volumes done a bit quicker--halfway through ASOS yesterday, but has to suffice for now. Curiosity. Taking. Over.

What's the hurry, lol? Might as well take your time reading it. I know that I will, when I get around to re-reading the first four.

True. It's not like the next volume will be out next year or anything :)

It's just good to finally have this book out after so many years!

Farm Ur-Ted,

Your post savors strongly of bitterness. I'm into the book. However, having a four year old to care for makes for slow reading.

I'll probably end up buying it next time I'm in a bookstore. Then it'll go on the shelf with all the other ones, and probably not be read until several months from now.

I almost bought it, and the rest, on the recommendation of a friend, till he reminded me this one took six years or so.
I'm not starting another series by someone who seems to take forever between books until the series is over. Someone PM me when the last book is published.

Now I better pop over to Erickson thread and see if that series is done soon...

I'm now about 3/4's of the way through it. Danlo, that sort of happened to me when the final Harry Potter book came out. They left the package on the freaking doorstep, outside, for anyone to take in the freaking MISSION DISTRICT in SF. I called and let them have an earful. I had paid the extra for guaranteed release day delivery. They sent me a new one signature required with a gift card for future purchases. I couldn't wait for the new one to show up though so I had bought it in the meantime. Yes, people, mock me all you will. I loved the HP books and I am writing this while wearing a Gryffindor hoodie.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Who's going to mock you? :D The HP books are awesome. Silly at times, perchance, but awesome nonetheless.

Where can one buy Hogwarts house hoodies?
