Let's call it a healthy respect for Caam, instead of fear. So I can save some face.

Regardless, turn sent.

Announcement (and sorry I didn't give anyone notice).

I've decided to move the game over to Encyclopedia Infernalis here.

kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22126&start=360

Most of you already know this site as the place we play Inferno so it won't be new to you. If you haven't registered, go ahead and Goat will approve it. All the threads have been moved over so we have our own forum.

In addition, instead of email turns and results, we will be following the method that we use for Inferno. You each have your own thread that you can post your turns and I will post your results.

Again, sorry I didn't give you guys any notice on the change. Bad Caam!

Note: At EI, I do not have the Allmother sign in so I am posting as Jove. Jove=Allmother, heh.

Shall we post the turns we just sent to our character threads there?

I don't play Inferno so submitting turns and receiving results via a site is new to me.

AllMother is telling me there is a thread for Laurel in the Characters forum, but all I am seeing is one I created which goat says is public. Is anyone else seeing there character threads?

I have NOT finished moving the Prophets Forum over. And I haven't even started on the OOC thread, which is most of the posts. Bear with me, and it'll all get over there.

Wish you wouldn't go
Too many games flee G T
No HP for me

That's not to mention
The loss of reading pleasure
And chance to comment

Goat's games of Darkness
May belong out on E I
But...Prophets? Not so!

Rethink, AllMother!
Stay in this Jove-ial place
Do not leave G T...

GT has long been my favorite forum on the Watch. To see these games leave breaks my heart, even if I am on the other site so I can continue playing.

Besides, if all of these games leave, will we soon be in search of a new moderator?

Don't think of it as leaving. It's all Watch people, on a Watch spin-off site, playing the same games. Plus some new folks and some new games.

But, for real, there were some serious technical limitations to using the Watch for games like this. And EI gets around those. (Not least of which is that we're no longer pestering Av to do stuff all the time.)

The ability to do private sub-forums for each player is HUGE, plus some of the extra bells and whistles we're hoping to do in the longer-term.

But, I'll still hang out in GT and moderate whatever games remain there. Darkwood and Acropolis aren't leaving soon, to my knowledge. The much-anticipated Pantheon 4, as well.

And, anybody from the Watch who wants to lurk and kibbitz over on EI is welcome. Register an account and send me a PM here, and we'll get you set up. I only made the content hidden over there so we wouldn't have copyright issues with some of the game content that we were posting. But I'm all about inclusion. And DPJ makes any OOC conversation better.

What is this? I can't say I approve. It somewhat made sense for Inferno, since Goat was trying to organize information, but...

Honestly, I really don't have the time to split my attention between multiple sites, multiple log-ins, etc. Not at the moment. I have responsibilities here and have to log in semi-frequently, but without an email option, I have no way to keep up with what's going on.

I will have to respectfully resign.

Guess that explains why I got an email message saying an account had been created.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

There is an email option, in that the system can email you when there are updates on various threads. Or, Caam can keep the game here.

Why not keep it here?
Has E I some advantage
That makes it better?

DPJ, won't you
Try it on the EI now?
It has its upsides

Such hidden forums
Allow for any content
Even such as porn

Actually, I'm fine with it either way personally, the EI is somewhat more convenient for me, but not even remotely enough to justify making the others move if they don't want to. So if not everyone is ready to move to EI, I guess we have to persuade AllMother now.

May I ask - what was the initial reasoning to move?

I'm sorry to see you go, Syl, but I know how busy you've been. It's my fault for not giving notice and I apologize for that. And you are right, it's time consuming to jump back and forth between forums.

If you ever decide to change your mind, you're always welcome to join.

You will be missed.

That means Gener is an NPC I'll be able to manipulate more easily! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Actually, that's a tough one. Who's harder to deal with, Syl or caam?!?
