I would say that that really depends on the nature of the deity being served (if any). The Prophet of Secrets, probably doesn't want that fact known all around. The Prophet of Justice probably does.
And it's probably up to that character and / or that deity (but probably the character) to make that fact known, if there's value to doing so.
That said, our Popularity Points, since they're based on a sort of public opinion, clearly must be publicly known to be of any use, so that part should be published.
