Protecting the Hall?
From what? A couple of punks
Planning to smear scat?

Artistry is not
What Andres Serrano
Was all about, nu?

Twinsriver is too
Sophisticated to fall
For that kind of sh-t

While we can all hope
The better kid will prevail
If not, it will wash...

This close to Aurora's Festival month and Day?
I would rather not take the chance.
...especially with the Hall this close to completion.
(ahead of schedule, yay!)

I can assign some guards to the hall. It won't be a problem.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. Those aren't punks messing up your walls... they're urban bohemians, adding artistic graffiti to enliven the otherwise dead soulless edifice that was put up.

They have their own ways of worshiping artistry, you see.

The Hall is not mine, it is Twinsriver's. However, I see it as being always open and accessible to all; especially the library wing/floor/room/whatever that turns out to be, as well as the rehearsal rooms and art studios.

I don't really see guards as part of that, but perhaps docents and ushers? Librarians? Clergy of the various small shrines? Schedules can be arranged among those who will work there, so that presence without needing to be governmental authority will insure "constant vigilance."

As large as the Hall is, I see it as a great opportunity for employment for native and newcomer alike. :)

Any chance of taking things to the game thread?

Meh. It doesn't look like Laurel will be asking for my help (the idea of schedules and such is too much like real life for me, thanks), and Gener will just do what needs doing. If it's Twinsrivers', I got jurisdiction. ;)

<shrug>

The Hall belongs to all of Twinsriver. Plus Laurel has even less claim, with the withdrawal of prophethood from Artistry...

Well, I'm not exactly a prophet myself yet, haven't even been one as well, so you've got company :)

Krinn rejects slavery to the gods, though he's certainly happy to reap the benefits of those who feel differently on the matter.

Am discussing options behind the scenes with AllMother. But, while I like what she is thinking (remember, I chose to have her offer me a deity, not make one up myself), I agree with her that the choice may be an upwards battle to develop...

Reject slavery to the divine. Embrace your own value as humans!

Gods depend on us and our faith. That puts them in a subservient position, so let's understand that fact and change the balance of power to reflect it.

Prophets are people who speak prophecies. None so far have done this. And the word doesn't need to include a priestly component.

Took me a while after Fist's text to find some solid time to really work on it. Busy busy. Always busy busy.

I'll update the rules with this.

Thanks.

Do we need to resend the current turns? You should have two emails from me.
