As long as you get it in by tomorrow morning you're fine. I allow for US timezones and such.

Okay, that "soon" turned out to be misleading. I've started pulling things together, and this post is now an actual promise of "soon". The next deadline will be 18th of August once I get this in.

So are you folks planning to just keep using a big chunk of your power every single turn on blocking the rivers? Because you realise, even when you block them the water still keeps flowing, and it all has to go somewhere...

Are you saying there's no way to dam up water?? But no, not permanent.

Of course you can dam water. But it doesn't create some infinite pocket that will never fill. Your river in particular flows through a flat area which it's pretty hard to block the water in.

Once again, I'm a little lazy with the map. The northern river is no longer flowing south of the wall to the lake; the western one has passed the dam again.

Other more significant things happening this turn, though. If anyone feels like what I'm doing here (specifically, the Tower) is unfair, let me know. I want to put some pressure on people to go for the goal, but I don't want it to spoil the game.

Deadline, as mentioned before, is Monday August 18th.

We probably all would have thought the other destroyed the tower.

And yeah, I have a general idea of how dams work. Heh. You just don't know the plan. Even without making it perfect, a lot of water is built up.

One week to deadline. I'd remind you that you're allowed, nay, encouraged to submit early if you find the opportunity, but that would be wasted this turn because I'm not going to have a chance to do anything with what you send me until next week.

Last day tomorrow! None of you have taken the opportunity to submit early. Get those turns in on time!

Three out of four received; one of those slightly late but not a problem. Nothing from Effaeldm.

I'm late and I'm sorry... I'll go and write something quickly. If it's too late, it's ok with me if my turn is not accepted or some kind of a fine is placed on me (without csualties for my poor "followers", if possible ^_^).

Oh, don't worry, there'll be plenty of casualties for you regardless. ;)

(Seriously, this is a bad turn for you. And all I've done so far is skim the submissions. Sorry in advance!)

Given how unreliable I've proven to be over the past year (we've had what, three turns?), I'm inclined to just call this game over. I don't think I'm being fair to you folks who wanted to play by just taking several-month-long unplanned breaks simply because I procrastinate and lose focus, and clearly I can't be relied upon to pick it back up and get onto a regular schedule.
