What is it with this forum?!? Every time I post here, it screws up and doesn't show that I posted! The other forums work for me.

No idea. I noticed one or two of your recent replies never showed up outside the topic, but this most recent post did.

Fist, if you haven't already, you may wish to text a deadline reminder to goat. My impression is he's pretty swamped this week; I'm uncertain if he'll even stop by the Watch.

Deadline day! Get those turns in, or else, as the term "deadline" implies, I will find you and kill you.

Just kidding. I will only hurt you.

Just noticed a really strange bug in this game's spreadsheet. When I open it and hit the new turn button, everything appears to run but none of the randomly generated stuff actually changes. Exact same results as it opened with, first time I run the macro, every time I open the document. Weird.

I'll confess something: Part of why it's taken me this long is because certain map changes are a real bitch to pull off in Autorealm, and I kept putting it off because I didn't want to have to make the changes that happened this turn. Sorry about that.

Just, ah, imagine there's a brown line running along the old course of the western river, ok? The river was all one solid line from the cliff, and I couldn't change just part of it. That's why the left half has changed shape a little, too. Also imagine that the eastern and central bits are drying up.

It's ok, I appreciate what you do anyway :)

I have to admit not being to attentive to games now, but generally I'd like to, just distracted. I reacted a bit to your activity in the Lovecraftian Conversion game, I'll try to do something more, maybe someone else will join.

The Lovecraftian thing was just me getting an idea for a bit of flash fiction based on the character, I needed to get it out, heh.

In other news, I hate having to come up with new boons to give players for their random events. Bad things are much easier. (Two of each, this turn!)

Oh, I see :) My general idea is to do it more like something in the middle between Pantheon-like games and ones like Vampire: Dark Ages, but with a few tricks :) Mostly based on story, with much of the plot in the open (in particular for people like Menolly and DPJ to enjoy).

Turn is done. Finally. Some interesting things happening.

A note on follower numbers - I've honestly been a bit flimsy on these so far. This turn I've bumped up Azathaerlth's follower count to be more in line with what's actually gone on in game. I honestly haven't been bearing the specific numbers in mind when doing the turns, just going on what I know is happening around, and I don't think I've been reflecting reality in the stats well enough. With the conversion of the nomad camp over several turns this idol's number should have been higher already.

The bump means the Faith:Follower ratio for Azathaerlth is a little better, too.

This won't affect gameplay.

If I say that I'm okay with it, and then forget... it's not lying, it's just being wrong. It still means I'm untrustworthy, but at least I'm not malicious.

Baby steps, right?

I was actually in the middle of drafting my email when you posted. (Still late, of course. But not forgotten.)
