Who says you need to find a path?

Trailblaze, woman. Imagine something cool, and try to invent a way of getting there. Make a story out of it. Worst thing that can happen is that you enjoy the creative process for a while before Fist wins anyway.

Oh wait, he's already won. So just go enjoy world-building for a while. You've got nothing to lose, except for your personal comfort level of having people constantly telling you that you're not as bad at it as you so often claim.

So yeah... put up.

As far as I'm concerned, did that. Working on developing it, and explaining it in game.
But I had to spend the last several turns selling the Autarch on the concept.

And it's not really a goal, per se.
Just an aspect of world building.

The idea is so clear to me, but explaining it, especially in myth form, is a challenge...

But, now that I actually have an official "go ahead," I can start thinking of legends regarding the concept.

First I heard that since I started putting forth the concept.
Not really, since tribes are in the rules, and I approved the first Transformed.
I just took the part of the rules about associating various clans with aspects of one's totem too literally, I guess.
So I've come to believe. Yeah, the names are just that—a way to say that one tribe is different than the other. I suggested (but do not require) that the tribes share a common nomenclature to highlight their unity.

The tribes themselves are my way of ensuring that (1) player growth and stats are structured and, to an extent, limited and (2) a depth of culture is developed. In light of the first point, I actually see too much of a focus on developing a new tribe before the first one is maxing out your stats to be a little self-defeating. You have the other half of it down, though.
I am still progressing with what simple plan/story I devised...
Which is fine. I just think that, in a way, you're kind of nuking/overthinking it. This is probably because that I, as a player, tend to just put everything I have in a single turn into an idea. Then later, if I think it needs more juice, I'll put more points into it, or develop further details. But then, I'm more deserving of the title Autarch (i.e., a mean bastard) than other GMs, so...
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Ye-eh-es...
But again, I was literally taken aback to have it happen in one turn.
I honestly assumed the process would take several.

Plus, as you explained, and I totally accept, the Transformed aren't actually a "tribe" as far as stats go, nu? They're something...different. Outside the clans. Even if they come from within the clans.

OK, the Yankees are getting the crap kicked out of them, so I'm ready to put some attention into these games.

Will that attention involve actually playing, or just standing on the side talking trash?

'Cause I gotta say, DPJ pretty much owns the 'standing on the side talking trash' archetype. And you'd just be nosing into his bidness.

No denying it
I resemble that remark
But in my defense
It should be noted
I have just won a Watchy
For this thing I do
Yes, I am an alt

Are you saying that
My Watchy may be in doubt?
Say it isn't so!

Whoah? I won something? Weird.

How long until the icons are added? (And if kevin is going to be adding watchy icons, can he add a couple others while he's doing it?)

As The Autarch said, competition for the GT categories was fierce.
*snort*

You could always PM ~jay and ask...
...best of luck getting it done, though.

That's why I was asking... to see if you'd already sorted that part out.

Because I'm not interested in losing that battle again myself.

There should be a sniglet for the times when you're waiting for results on all the games you're playing. But what word could truly capture the sleepless nights, nervous ticks, and chain-smoking?

Cold-turkey?
