The Last Dark ARC is here!!

Post by Creator »

I've got it!! I only saw one on eBay, but I've got it! It was a buy-it-now for $100.

I think I've gotten the first ARC for Watchers from the last three!

:letsparty:

It should arrive by mail at the end of the week.

[I would have posted in Last Dark forum, but I don't have access.]

Congratulations, Creator.

Possibly an early ARC is meant to encourage more critical reviews?

I know it's a bad sign for movies to have a small review window before it opens. So I am hoping the opposite is a good sign.

Well ... perhaps I might have stretched the truth a wee little bit! ;)

I have been "looking" on ebay for the ARC - gotta come out soon if it will be published in October!

And I did think this day would be perfect for the announcement I did make!

when I get my FREE ARC, I will be sure to put it on ebay with a "creator surcharge"

I was about to say - ! Was wondering what draft they'd put in the ARC if it had come out this early!! Good one, Creator.

Nearly as good as the Peter Dinlkage being replaced on Game of Thrones in season 4...I fell for that one!

The secret of April Fools is the delicate balance of plausibility with outrageousness. For example, if you had said that you didn't buy it ... :)

I'm curious: Do you also buy a real copy when it's published? ARCs give no money to the author, after all, and are created from final uncorrected proofs, so still have errors.

Always. And usually several copies (Hardback, paperback, then eBook and audio.) I understand the economics and always want to make sure I am supporting an author whose work I read.
