Songs in the Chronicles

Post by omnom »

One thing that we all know is prevalent in the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant is poetry. But it's not all just poetry-- it's music. Songs, to be exact. Obviously, though, no music is provided, as it's a book. However, I was able to put together music tracks for two songs in the Chronicles, and here they are!
First is the Legend of Berek Halfhand, as sung by Atiaran in LFB. I remembered that she sang only part of the song, and she'd forgotten the rest or something. So I extended it into a full song, but one that I don't have all the lyrics for. Where there are no words, I have inserted a stand-in "voice" track. (I can't write like SRD. If you have ideas for lyrics, I'm happy to hear them.)

Next is Caer-Caveral's lament to Andelain in TWL, which I have named Andelain Forgive. I really like how this one turned out.

Be Welcome to the Watch, omnom.
Be Well Come and True.

Nice way to introduce yourself. Now come over and do so in The Summonsing, particularly in the Say Hello in Here thread.

Then you may wish to pop in to Vespers, where music of all sorts is discussed.
