Somehow I don't think I'll be through all three volumes of The Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire before my copy arrives.

Akasri, I feel your anxiety. I'm halfway through FR, and don't think I'll make it without seriously picking up my pace.

Any word/estimation on when the Audiobook is coming out and where it will be sold?

(IE: I believe Scott Brick has The Last Dark back, but, don't know if he'll sell it on his site, or if I should get it from Audible.com? I've checked both places recently and not even a placeholder)

Are you around Scott, and are you able to comment?

Audiobook of The Last Dark

Post by Audio Covenant »

Hey, thanks for asking. I actually just got done with the audiobook. Technically I finish tomorrow, fixing a few mistakes that were made along the way (on my part, not SRD's, of course). The audio was done for Penguin audio, so it should be available wherever they sell their books: Amazon, Audible, iTunes, etc. I won't, however, be selling it on my site, but as soon as it's done being revamped, I'll have links to where people can buy it.

FYI, no spoilers here, but I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by this volume. Just nailed me. I've read it twice, once to prepare and another to record, and I can't wait to read it again.

Best,

Scott
Are you a storyteller, Thomas Covenant?

I was, once.

And you gave it up? Ah, that is as sad a tale in three words as any you might have told me. But a life without a tale is like a sea without salt. How do you live?

I live.

Another? In two words, a story sadder than the first. Say no more -- with one word you will make me weep.

Oh, sorry, forgot to say WHEN: it should be available the same day as the print version, so no waiting this time around. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
