I just called my local B&N and it looks like it will be available in store on the 15th. (I was kind of sweating it because I usually get my Donaldson at Borders and, well, ...)

Just ordered it from Amazon --- $21 with free shipping/handling.

I know I'm sacrificing 1 day of reading (won't get it till Wednesday) but I'm saving about $5 plus the shipping costs.

If it's a big enough release Amazon usually ships for it to arrive on Release day

It's obvious I'm not going to make it through my re-read by next week (~40% through FR now).

Now, I just have to restrain myself from reading any of the threads that will pop up next week and spoiling the book before I read it :)

Speaking of which, where's a good place to bump the "No spoilers outside of TLD forum, please" request?

Be careful what you promise. Without spoiling anything, I can assure you that what you read in TLD (not just the end) will have a considerable emotional effect.

Putnam Books has been promoting TLD on Facebook. I hope it helps generate sales.

Maybe they're holding off on putting it up, until it's actually released? I see Amazon does have preorders for Kindle and Hardbound
It's up for pre-order on Audible now.

I pre-ordered. I'm sooooo not a rebel.

Reading "1 day til TLD" has suddenly made me all shuddery. I was being so cool until now.

This is a life event.

Alas, I am more than 1 day away from finishing AATE. Maybe 4 days to go. (Liand just died.) I will have to smell and stroke and heft and squeeze my copy of TLD for a few days before I read it. But there's no way I'm going to stint on my re-read for this one.
