Ok, already, danlo, I'm here!!

My work schedule has been crazy and I have been overtired...and then when I finally had time to come here, I couldn't open the forum!! :? Talk about frustration. :x

Two of my favorite quotes:
"Who is in command?" Master Barsonage demanded of the guards. "Where is King Joyce?"

The answer was, Pissed if I know. Or the equivalent.
"Vagel's balls," he muttered. "how did you do that?"
(My daughter maintains I have the whole book memorized anyway!! )

If you don't have the whole book memorized, you should. After all, you've only read it about 20 times... :D

I'll pretend I didn't see that last comment, Foamy. ;)

Here's another one. One of my favorite quotes was said by King Joyse, referring to the Tor:

"Ah, my old friend the Tor." King Joyce grimaced as though his mouth were full of bile. "He is one of the few mummers in this masque who defies prediction."

Another quote, while I'm waiting for more MN fans to turn up:
Mirrors had a seductive beauty which spoke to her - but that wasn't the point. The point was that there was virtually no angle in her apartment from which she couldn't see herself.
That was how she knew she existed.
When she slept, her mind was empty, as devoid of dreaming as a plate of glass.
That glass and mirrors imagery that I love. :)

Here's, I believe, a ressurected quote..

Post by danlo »

I was browsing thur A Man Rides Through and I came across a quote I think MsMary posted on the old forum, but it's so cool I had 2 ressurect it here:
She was taken completely by surprise when a touch of cold as thin as a feather and as sharp as steel slid straight through the center of her abdomen.

Ok, I'm just going to *have* to get my books out now. I could tell you all the plot twists from page one to one thousand but I can't remember quotes to save my life.

Be back soon!
