A dear friend *finally* got her book into print. She's been working on it for longer than you'd think possible. I think the count was up to 2 agents and 1 publishing company that picked her up over the years, then went out of business. She finally self published through the publishing company she and her husband run for his work - he's a geologist and archeologist, and a master Flint knapper (I hope I'm spelling that right).
